Drakkenheim Campaign#

Welcome to the campaign notes for our Drakkenheim adventure.

The Story So Far#

A party of adventurers has arrived at Emberwood Village, the last safe settlement before the corrupted city of Drakkenheim. The city was devastated fifteen years ago when a meteor struck, leaving behind a substance called delerium that mutates everything it touches.

The Party#

  • Theobroma — Fairy wizard from the Amethyst Academy
  • Margareta — “Giant” fighter, emissary from the Giantfrost Ordning
  • Cory — Kenku crossbow performer
  • Heda Zlathrak Natblida — Gold dragonborn paladin of the Sacred Flame

Current Objectives#

  1. Find Balthazar Adamos — missing Falling Fire disciple; last seen at the Black Ivory Inn (NE Drakkenheim, across the Drann River); quest from Lucretia Mathias
  2. Prove loyalty to the Queen’s Men — steal a permanent magical item to Blackjack Mel for an introduction to the Queen
  3. Decide which faction to align with: Amethyst Academy, Hooded Lanterns, Queen’s Men, Silver Order, or Falling Fire
  4. Scepter of Saint Vitruvio — Heda holds it as caretaker (per Lucretia Mathias). Still need to meet Ophelia Reed (Silver Order). The scepter is NOT one of the Six Seals.
  5. Find Donovan Marlowe — Eren’s missing nephew.

Completed#

  • Retrieve a delerium node from beneath the Rat’s Nest Tavern (Session 4)
  • Rescue Lieutenant Petra Lang from the Rat’s Nest Tavern (Session 4)
  • Contact the Queen via Buckledown Row (Session 5 — Cory paid initial dues)
  • Retrieve the Scepter of Saint Vitruvio (Session 6 — scepter recovered from the Chapel of Saint Brenna)
  • Meet with Nathaniel Flint, Blackjack Mel, and Lucretia Mathias about the scepter (Session 7)
